How to issue stock at no cost

Hello

We have made some manual GR at no cost this was mistakes. So no JE was posted for all this mistakes but quantity is higher now.

We need to make goods issue to reverse all these mistakes

Problem goods issue are at moving average costs and I would like to know if there is any possibility to issue goods at 0 price and that would make no JE posting befind ?

Hi,

     you can not issue the goods with out item cost ,but  there is a work around

first issue the same quantity then reevaluate your item cost with the same moving average valuation method in Stock revaluation Under Inventory . by doing this you can again get the same Item Cost & Quantity of item.

Hi,

When you issue goods, system will pick up moving average(In your case) to remove quantity and value of those quantity.

So you can receive goods as 0 price but you can't remove stock at 0 price.

Hello,

You would need an inventory revaluation to correct this issue. You can use the same offset account which you were planning to use for GR.
