Max No. of Tabs is not working Properly with Android Platform in agentry.

Hi All,

I am working with agentry application in which i am trying to display  8 screens as 8 tabs in a screen set on the android device.

I have enabled Max No. of Tabs  and entered the Max No. of Tabs = 8 in android platform. while working with iPad it's showing screens as  8 tabs on device but in android device it is showing screen as drop down list (menu items). so how can i display 8 screens as tabs in android device.

Hi Pratik,

Question:

1) Can you share your Agentry editor setup for your Android screen and IOS Screen? All the properties and setup tabs including definition.

2) What happens if you have 6 tabs instead of 8 does it show all the tabs?

If it is a drop down, what is your setup for item 1 above?

I need some confirmation that there is no setup in your Android where you selected to show it under a drop down menu.

Reference: Some of our demo application online for Android device shows the tabs with 6 (Inventory Manager) and drop down with over 6 (like Service Manager).

Thanks for your reply, now my issue is resolved.

while creating client the maximum number of tabs count is fixed in .class file in android code and we can't modify that file as it is .class file.
