Special Characters in Material Master

Dear Friends,

In Material master, the description has to be entered with special characters like in 'webdings' font in winword. (Language is Russian language. This is a special reqt that colloborator's details and his description will be entered for easy tracking).

How shall we proceed?.

Hi prasanna,

Nice to see you in this forum. Where exactly you want to maintain. Is it in basic data text. What you are quoting is Text style webdings in the text.SAP takes the text in the regular english form but can be have language specfic irrespective of text style.

Let me know some details on this.

Hi Friends,

To give an example for my reqt. In Matl master description, user wants to enter some special characters which is avl in "WEBDINGS" font. If it is not possible in description, it can be in alternate data also.
