We are looking at the following. Please advise what all can be achieved using the What-if scenario, and what else can achieve the rest (if at all)?
- Can we by releasing resources from one project and assign to another (through simulation and/or what-if) and check the impact schedule on both projects (one would be expected to delay, the other to finish early)
- Can we release resources from the project at completion/cancellation of the project and evaluate the change in the actual availability of resource (Capacity Management) - can this situation be simulated?
- Can we simulate budget distribution using classification hierarchy?
- Impact of date change on Portfolio Items?
