S Stock category to block from production supply area

Hi All,

Suppose I have stock of a material in only ‘S’(blocked stock) in WM, then it won’t allow to create a TO against an outbound delivery for this stock.

Is this validation done in the TO creation program itself or is there any configuration for this?

Likewise, how can we prevent in moving ‘S’ (blocked stock-quant) to production supply area 100?

Please let me know if any settings for this?

We have a bin to bin transfer program created from moving stocks from any storage types to 100.

you can use the stock category column to influence the storage type search during putaway

e.g. in the below case if the stock category is S and the storage type indicator is 012 then system will propose bin from storage type 005 else it will propose bin from storage type  012 and 001
