VPricat UPC/EAN required for Outbound PRICECATALOGUE02

Hi Gurus

Im   working with the VPricat transaction  to send an outbound idoc   PRICECATALOGUE02 but i have a error messaje PVJ341  : unit measuere ## of mateiral ## does not have an EAN/UPC .  and that is correct by busines need   there is not required to have a EAN for some of the Unit measure. My questions will be if is there any way to remove this message and send the idoc , or if it required to have  and ean  for this process. if its require is there  any other way to do  send the outbound idoc with this validation ?

Hi

i found the answer by myself, yes it is required to have  EAN for all  Unit of measure, in case you need  to remove this message implement the badi PRIREADMATERIAL for the method READ_UNIT    then  just   mark the parameter IV_KZ_GENERATE_EAN = ‘X’. this will generate a dummy ean   for that Unit of measure and with that you will pass that validation.
