Execute transaction S_ALR_87012819 in background...

hello all,

we have a parameter transaction S_ALR_87012819

i am unable to execute this transaction in background....

as program->execute in background is disabled....

now my question is how do i execute this transaction in background,

do i need to create another transaction for this...

Did you try using SM36 and creating a background job using variant.

we don't want that way because the end user wouldn't have authorization for SM36,

some how i need to allow the end user to run S_ALR_87012819 in background...

Hi Vinay,

Please check the following link which suggests that the execute in background option may be disable in some standard SAP reports because of the control options may be authorization objects .
