Location not in Alphabetical order

HI All,

I tried to import location using Workbook and it was successful but they do not appear in alphabetical order.

Also there is not such option to order them.

Please let me know if i am missing something.

If you look in the master data "locations" you can sort them by just clicking on the row.

If you want to sort it when you use a selection box then you have to modify the query which lists the locations by first finding the query group FCI-LocationBuyPicker, the query which is the default one, copy and modify it and the add your new query to the query group which sorts on the name or any other element you prefer.

Hi Erik,

Sorting them also did not help. Later we saw that few of the location were in Capital.So for e.g if we are importing ABC as abc it will display as sorted for 1st time. As it contains Capital and Small Letters combination it will be problem for sorting.

hence we changed the Capital letters and then imported it again or even direct edit location and it worked . the location were properly sorted Alphabetically.
