SO Confirmation

Hi gurus,

Is there a way in standard SAP to confirm Sales Order?

Other than workflow how can this be done?

a)Upon creations of SO, route for manager’s approval/reject.

b)To check if Demand will be reflected upon creation or approval.

HI,

We can use SAP Authorizations to effectively map the below process. We addressed the similar requirement as below.

1. Default a item category - no availablity check and confirmation of schedule lines- we call this orders as constrained orders.

2. User with necessary authorization to change the item category - This item category is configured so that schedule lines will be confirmed.

Further processing can be carried out after item category change.
