Can you give the details of item categories of the sub items in the return order..?

Is your return order created with reference..? If so what is the reference?

Give more details about the issue

Your requirement is not clear! In return process, you want only the main item to be returned? Please give an example (items sold and item returned)

The explosion of BOM happens because of the settings in item category, check fields Structure scope and Application in VOV7
