Changing the Bapi name in XI which will be published as webservice

Hi Gurus,

Can we change the bapi name by changing the wsdl of imported BAPI structure from the R3.

Changing the structure of imported wsdl structure of BAPI will effect in result of webservice?

I want to publish bapi as webservice through XI, I have imported the bapi say BAPI_XXX where as i dont want to expose the bapi name in wsdl. so i changed the wsdl of bapi replaced BAPI_XXX with abcd and imported the changed wsdl as external definition used the same wsdl as message interface which is not giving the proper webservice result as before(where as the message interface is BAPI itself)... can u please suggest a way to change the BAPI name in wsdl...

Hi,

Craete an Outbound Message Interface that uses your BAPI as its message types and then expose this message interface as a webservice in XI.

Use this message Inatreface name while creating the WSDL.
