SAP GUI update from 7.2 to 7.4

Hello All,

We are planning to update our SAP GUI from 7.2 to 7.4 with SAP GUI Update server. Is it possible to bring such changes with it?

We have update GUI server not installed in the landscape. But we are now planning to make it.

Hello Mohit,

Yes you can update your installation server with the new binaries.

Just run NwUpdateInstServer.exe from  your existing 7.20 installation server if you have one,and browse to the compilation download of the new 7.40, or you can create a new installation server from the 7.40 if you have not created a previous 7.20 installation server.

Thanks for the respond. we dont have installation server yet in our landscape. And we would like to update our FAT client user workstation using Installation server.

I have installed 7.4 server now. And moving further with it.
