H
I am trying to connect to SQL server from Lumira using Free Hand SQL Datasource.

When I connect using JDBC (4th gen) driver I get error

"Driver error:Login failed for user 'user'.client connectionid: xyz....."

I checked TCP/IP is enabled and Windows and SQL Server Authentication mode is selected.

Your help will be highly appreciated,

Thanks,

Hi David,

Are you using the right driver for your SQL. If not please download the sql drivers and install them SAP Lumira. You can also try creating a new user and try logging in using that user. If above does not work let us know, We can try other alternate ways to figure out the issues.

Hi David, is it an option you can try with another client tool? (like Universe Design tool or Information Design tool) Besides this idea, does your authentication work when connecting in SQL Server Management Studio for instance? It seems your login does fail.

Best regards
