Lumira Server Consumer Role Rights

Hello Everyone,

As per my understanding in Lumira Server, there are 2 types of users -

1. Data Analyst who can create data sets, stories on those data sets and share stories and data sets on Lumira Server

2. Consumer who can only View the stories shared by Analyst

But in my scenario, I created a Story on top of Efashion Universe in Lumira Desktop application. Then I published the story to Lumira Server using LUMIRADEV user who has DATA_ANALYST role assigned. Then I logged on to Lumira Server using LUMIRADEV id and shared the New Story and Data Set with LUMRIADEMO user who has DATA_CONSUMER role assigned. But when I logged on to Lumira Server using LUMIRADEMO id, I could create a new story on top of shared data set which I feel is contradicting the definition of CONSUMER user.

Please correct if my understanding is incorrect.

Lumira Server Version - 1.19

Thanks & Regards,

Abhijit

Thanks Boris for your response.

So that means the only difference between Analyst role and Consumer role is that Analyst can Edit the Stories where as Consumer can only view the Stories however Both have rights to create New Stories on Data sets shared along with Stories.

Abhijit
