data inconsistency Issue faced while unicode conversion in SAP BW

Hi ,

While upgrading from 3.5 version to 7.x version we are facing below issue:-

While doing Unicode Conversion of BWQ system we are facing data inconsistency between the database and the ABAP Dictionary.

There are around 406 objects which have come in the list and all starts with /BIO/02* .

These are transparent tables and do not have database tables in the system.

I tried dropping these tables using SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES, but it dose not delete any tables.

I request all to please give suggestion on what can be done to remove this issue.

In this report it states that it deletes all except delete temporary Hierachy tables .

Could you please suggest a way to delete temporary hierarchy tables.

Hi Guptad,

Yes, you should delete all temporary BW tables using report SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES when upgrading your system.

If the report does not correctly delete the temporary BW tables then please first check if there are any SAP notes available providing corrections to this report.
