sap crm prdcpqr - enhanced search field (competitor name) case sensitive

HI,

I have enhanced the prdcpqr search field, with a custom settype to have the search by competitor name.

The search is working fine if i enter the search String with proper Upper and lower case as in the database..

its not ignoring the case..

but only for product description i am able to search irrespective of the case.

i even tried with couple of set types.. no output..

can anyone throw light on having a non case sesitive description search in the prdcpqr component

check with the domain that has been used for set type attribute. there is a property called lower case(check box). May be manipulating this , can be helpful.

Thank you very much for the reply,  Unfortunately it did not work.  as if i change it to Lowercase..

when i enter any value it changes to UPPER CASE,  it seems that in the query SAP has done some hard coding,  could not spend much time debugging in detail. but i solved it through coding,  it was a long way but.. it works now..
