Hi All,

Could you please assist me to get more details on 4 digit tax code.

I have referred OSS Note 1557220 - which says about possibility of 4 digit tax code.

Hi Amarnath,

If you ask whether its possible to have 4 digit tax code, yes it is as described in the OSS - 1557220. However you also need to check Note 1424491 before you proceed to implement the above.

I think the status of the 2nd note is 'not yet released' so you may want to ask SAP whether there is any prerequisite that need to be followed through note - 1424491 before applying 1557220.

Also I hope OSS-1557220 suits your system landscape like Release Version, ENPC etc.

Hi Amarnath,

What do you mean by exhaustion. are you running out of naming convention of tax code identification, if yes, give an example what you want to convey.

Hi Subhasish,

If number of all possible tax codes (2 digits - alpha numeric) are used, then what are all options to create a new tax codes.

For example like using special characters, 4 digit tax code, etc...
