BW-BEx Optional Variables doesn't appear in Crystal Reports 2013

Hello All,

Greetings to All.

I got a SAP BW BEx Query with two mandatory variables, 6 optional variables.

While design and preview in Crystal Reports 2013 designer all are working good.

Once I save the report to BI Launch Pad, ran the report in BI Launch pad, the Optional Prompts (From BW BEx) doesn't appear, only mandatory appeared!

Do you guys know, any reason? any one faced this issue? How to resolve it?

Yes, I have searched, found old version postings! Suggestions for this issue in old versions of Crystal Reports.

I have the same issue but in different version: Crystal Reports 2013 SP2, BW-BEx optional prompts doesn't appear while view Crystal report in BI Launch Pad, But Crystal Reports Designer works all are working good (BW-BEx Mandatory & Optional Variables).

Version I am using: Crystal Reports 2013 SP2.

Should I ask BW Consultant to make all variables as mandatory in BW-BEx Designer for Crystal Reports 2013 SP2 version as well? Is it the solution?

Or

Please share Postings if solution already there in SCN.

Hi Subani,

I tested my 2013 CR report on the BI Platform server and it has the same issue. When I do go into the report and refresh then I get all variables?  Perhaps a mismatch between the versions of CR and the BI Platform?
