Error when creating transport of Copy - No transports to Sandbox

Hi,

We'd like to ask about the following issue that we're encountering in our solution manager.

Recently, when we try to create transport of copies for our sandbox, we recieve a message saying "No transports to Sandbox" and are unable to do so. Normally, we remove this error by rechecking the procedure but in this case, it returns after we try to creat another transport of copy. We've checked the project status switches in the project, as well as the task list for our maintenance cycle, and the target systems are all unlocked as they should be.

However, when we do check the logs in the task list, we notice errors under "Import Transport Request" In our target system in the task list. The error messages are :No Data Can Be imported: Request XXXXX is still being released. So based on these logs at least, it looks like the cause is that the copies can't be created because the autogenerated test transports are still being released. But when we check in SE01, the transports are already released.

Does anyone know about this error and how we can fix it?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Jonathan Concepcion

Hi,

Usually Transport of copies can be triggered when a Sub-Task of the Transport Request is released in the Development system and the Normal Change is changed from the status "In Development" to "To Be Tested" which will generate the Transport of Copies. You can view the Transport of copies requests in the Text Log.

This Transport of copies has to be imported from the Task-list to the Test or Quality system.

Transport of copies captures the changes of the Sub-Task of the Transport request and imports it to the Test/QA system, but the Main Transport Request will be in the status "Releasing/Changeable" till Normal Change status is set "Successfully Tested" where it gets released.

Check your Project phase is in "Development with Release"

Hi,

An obvious hint is to check if the server where are you releasing the transport have access to SAPMNT share on server destination.

Also, you can go to t-code STMS and run the configuration validation check.
