I am trying to setup environment where i will have NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.0 and
Web AS Java on my laptop, then i want to connect to Sandbox (r/3 system) via sld.
I am trying without success. My JCo destination test fails from WebDynpro Content Admin. I see the gateway entry when i run the JCo destination test from Visual Administrator.
Can you send me documentation that would explain what i should do establish JCo destination. I wan to setup this way as a way of local debugging during the development.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Guys for all your speedy replies. I really apreciate it.
Good News, Suresh, it finally worked when i added the entry in for the message server in SERVICES file.
In my case, entry in HOST file is there since i was able to connect to this sandbox using SAP GUI.
Once again thanks for all your replies.
Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,
It seems you have connectivity issue with R/3 sandbox from your machine.
Try to ping this R/3 server from your system and check whether it pings successfully.
In content administrator also you have option called ping against your JCO connections. Try to ping from there also.
If you get any error in this then let me know.
Regards,
Bhavik
