Retrofit Release Transport Request

Hello All,

We have Transport requests in our Maintenance system which we would like to bring into the Project system. Inorder to achieve the same we did the setup to transport them using Retrofit.

What about the Transport requests which were in our Maintenance system before Retrofit  was activated? All the Transport requests were released in the Maintenance system. can we somehow bring them into Project system using Retrofit?

Hello Mayanak,

I think if we can bring the released transport requests in the scheduler of the retrofit. Then we can use retrofit further to compare transport orders from different systems.

Hi Lakshmi

You can include the released transports but prerequisite is that you need to have those transports in charm project then you can retrofit it. However if you have not created released transports through charm then you can do it via CTS+ if you had implemented in your landscape.

Otherwise you can create one transport through charm include the objects of others using SE03.

However this whole idea is not recommendable as the purpose of keeping implementatoin track seperate from maintenance track got defeated.
