Archive inspection lot:-LTIN STIC STUP

Former Member

Hi there

Issue: The system is not considering the inspection lots for archiving if i changed the status from "LTIN STIC STUP" to "UD   ICCO STUP" .

When i ran in test mode RQRQAB00, I can see that the system is able to read the inspection lot,  usage decision but its not considering to select for archiving.

Some Notes regarding the above

  1. Status of "LTIN STIC STUP" inspection lot is Green
  2. I have checked the Archiving parameters, these details are all good.
  3. All the pre reqs are met,

Can any one guide me, what i am missing here, is there anything else i should be doing to archive these inspection lots

I have archived the inspection lots with UD with out any issues

Please guide me

HI John

The lot status has been changed from LTIN to UD, and for testing purpose i made sure to remove any values in the residence time. Still the program doesn't select. Any thoughts

Thanks

Hi,

Check what Natalia mentioned, but one other thing comes to mind - if the lot has a quality level associated with it due to a DMR, that might have to be deleted / archived first.

Hello Amar,

Please check the following requirementes to archive an inspection lot:

- The inspection lot has been cancelled, or if a usage decision has been made. (OK for you)
- The last change to the usage decision was made before the retention duration.
- All stock has been posted for a stock-relevant inspection lot. (OK for you)
- If the inspection lot is not used in any of the following data records:
  Production order header
  Delivery note item
Transfer requirement item without a “delivery completed” indicator.
  Quality level

Hello,

Double check your residence time & deletion period for the plant to verify your change to the lot status falls within the windows specified there.

Sorry, I'm confused. Is the lot status 'LTIN' or 'UD'? If it is UD, when was the inspection completed (no longer LTIN)? Has enough time passed since the status was changed to UD to satisfy the residence time for transaction data? That is independent of the inspection lot age.

John
