How to change the Warehouse Process Type for EWM Inbound Delivery

Dear Experts,

I try to perform following test:

I create an inbound delivery in ERP system with MB1C:

After this I perform the packaging by using VL32N:

At the end I distribute this delivery to my EWM System by using of VL06I:

So when I switch to EWM system, I can find my inbound delivery:

As the next step I try to change the default Warehouse Process Type but for some reason even it an editor modus it is not possible:

Why is this change not possible? Do may be someone has any hits?

Hi Denis,

Are you using version 7.01 if so most likely you might have this problem.

Couple of things to check.

When you double click on the item, you can see various item details screen.

In there check out for document flow tab, if it has an entry for putaway planned (then the task has been created, but it was unable to save it to db in the process the status is messed up)

Seconldy check the Status tab, there you should see a status DEU and it should be set to 1.

In all fairness if it is a test delivery and none of the above matches just recreate the delivery.

If it happens always you can raise it with SAP.

Hello,

once there is a put away task created, system will not allow you to change the WPT. You can only create put away task in foreground and change it there.

Hi Alexander, no normal inbound deliveries between 121 and 124.

OK, could you please share also the item document flow detail? Maybe you have something triggered by PPF in the background.

Denis, if you do not have any PPF action triggering put away task, you do not have any task created and the item status is "Not started" for put away planned, you can check the configuration for field control.

Check the field control profile in:

Goods receipt process - Inbound delivery - Manual Settings

For this profile check the settings in:

Cross-Process Settings - Delivery Processing - Field Control

Check if you have any settings in there, which prevents you to change the WPT - e.g. packing status etc...

Your screenshot does not show the settings for the PROCTY_I field. Did you check the correct one?

I assume you have this standard profile assigned to your inbound delivery type.

I just changed the wharehouse process type in the inbound delivery with the settings I needed. Even I still don't know how to change WPT in the ID, I can keep testing.

Check GR status on unloading status in item delivery. Maybe it have already completed.
