Hi Gurus,
We have an issue with Sourcing Note field on the notes and attachment tab in the shopping cart. During shopping cart creation, I have entered 6 lines of statement in "Sourcing Note" in Notes and attachment field.
While creating PO when I checked the sourcing note.. it is displaying only 1 1/2 line of text from my 6 lines of text.. and rest data is not displayed on the PO.
We are on SRM 7.01 (Service Pack 13) version....
Sourcing Note on SC
Sourcing Note on PO
Could you guide us to resolve this solution...
Thanks in advance
Thank you Vinita and Konstantin for the reply.
Sourcing Note is a custom field and which is limited to only 132 characters. That is the reason we are facing this issue and the object where this limit is fixed is a standard object... We are not supposed to change the limit of characters in this sourcing note.....
We raised an OSS note to SAP and waiting for the reply..
Note: Even in SP8 we have this issue, to resolve we implemented one note that time... after changing the Service pack to SP13 we got this issue again...
Thanks in advance

Hi Sanjay
This looks like a Z field to me .. Can you check how the field is being sent from SRM to ECC
from SC to PO probably you can check for the BAPI_PO_CREAT1 and see where this field is stored ..
Also compare the data type for the field for PO and SC .. are they the same ?
Let me know your comments

Vinita

Hi,
looks like a bug.
How do you map the texts? Standard Customizing or Customer Code?
