Hello,
I have an SAP Web Dispatcher that is load balancing between 3 application (ABAP dialog only) servers that have ICM enabled on them (sapserver1, sapserver2, and sapserver3). It is communicating to a message server that is on a different server (called sapMSserver). Everything is load balancing fine, except the ICM service on sapserver3 starts returning 404 HTTP error messages (even from the ping), but he ICM and ABAP stack on sapserver3 is still running so the message server still continues to tell the Web Dispatcher the server is still available, but all requests are returning 404 error messages.
My question is, can the Web dispatcher be configure to stop sending requests to a server that is not responding to http://sapserver3:8080/sap/public/ping requests? Or does this need to be done through something like CCMS?
Thank You,
John Ratliff
