Planning explanation data cannot be saved due to maximum limit of 2GB

Hi Gurus

We are implementation SCM 7 with EHP 2 so we are having the following warning in /SAPAPO/CTMAPLOG

I know that we are running without log saving

Could you help me to solve the warning ?

Hi Donaldo,

You have two choices. Increase the limit to 3 or 4 GB or to play with the log options in the CTM Profile (tab Settings - Technical Settings). Selecting Create Single Message will help to save memory!

Hello Donaldo,

Maybe you should delete the logs before doing some changes.

You can use t.code SLG2 - Delete Logs.

Hi Donaldo,

I am a CTM expert from development support. The warning message is a limitation in CTM for explanation log since we use cluster table and in standard a cluster table cannot store more than 2Gb. You cannot go over this limitation and the only possibility for you is to limit the explanation log with less type of messages in your explanation profile or to limit the explanation for only specific location products by assigning a master data selection in your explanation profile.
