We are passing one of four parameters through an opendoc url and we want to suppress the parameter that's being passed and prevent the user from refreshing the report all while still allowing them to enter values for the remaining parameters in the report. So the scenario looks like is From an application user clicks on a button that opens a new window with opendoc url passing token and one parameter of four in the report
report open and displays all four parameter with the one parameter populated but not applied and the other parameters blank awaiting entry. These are dynamic cascading prompts set to be optional, we are using CR2013 in BOBJv4.1SP2 enterprise.
I have read several entries about subreports to pass the parameter to suppress the prompting behavior but the parameter we want to suppress needs to be populated dynamically by the opendoc call created in the initial application. Any suggestion/starting point in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
