False error in CCR

Hi Experts,

We get an error when doing CCR for manufacturing orders 'with Reqs/Receipts' ticked in CCR selection screen.

The error says :

Requirement/receipt Y for order number zzzz only exists in SAP R/3

Message no. /SAPAPO/CIF501

Diagnosis

Requirement/receipt Y for order zzzz and header material X in plant P only exists in SAP R/3.

Procedure

You can rectify this data inconsistency be selecting Send to APO.

Looking at the APO system -- the requirement actually exists in the APO system and is also of the same quantity as in ECC. When we reconcile by sending to APO -- the error goes.

Can someone please suggest why the error comes in first place as the requirement is there in APO and is also of the same quantity as in ECC ?

Will appreciate any quick help/suggestions on this.

Hi Gig,

Did you check the order numbers? Maybe the ECC generated new numbers is not transferred on APO side! So, you will have the same quantity and date but with different numbers.

No Marius -- its not the case. Order numbers are same.

Do you have messages in SLG1? Choose object CIF, select Only very important logs and Execute.

Can you check if the OSS note 1980591 - Load of a result in CIF delta report fails is applicable for you?

Thanks Rorie looks like you have hit the nail on head !!!

But unfortunately I can not find an example in Dev systems to test it before we implement it in production.

One question -- what does this code in the suggested note exactly do ? Will it hide all errors due to comparision or it will hide only false errors ?
