Add custom field to search help Change Documents

Hello friends.

I need add custom field to search help Change Request Mgnt - Change Documents.

I enhance Component = AIC_CMCD_S, View = SearchQueryView, Node = SEARCH.

Base Entry = BTQAICSearch.

I did all of need (add to structure, move to right on Configuration Tab, etc). Field do view on SM_CRM web view.

I z-implemented badi CRM_BADI_RF_Q1O_SEARCH, but filter value = BTQAICSearch has implementation ES_AI_CRM_IM_SEARCH, and I cannot create new implementation (z-) with this filter value.

What to do now ?

Hi Alexandr,

most guides for SAP CRM Web UI Business Transaction Search Enhancement tell you how to implement a BADI or how to hack the search query object even in cases you just want to add some simple fields as search criteria or result list field.

Because I don´t wanted to develop in cases it is not needed, I searched for a better solution. And I found it. I hope my solution will help you too.

Hello Alexandr,

if your search field is a field on a database, you can add your field in SM30, view CRMC_REPDY.

Then you do not have to change the search badi implementation.
