Loaded File not visible in XI Message Monitoring

Hi,

I have a configured a scenario where a flat file is integrated via XI File Sender Adapter. The file was loaded out of the file directory, but in XI Message Monitoring I can't see the message. In the Adapter Monitoring, the respective Communication Channel is green.

Any idea what this might be?

Hi Alex,

Check http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem.

Select the filter criteria (date and time of sending your message) and all the relevant messages will show up.

Here you will find a tool called Audit Log..which will show the steps that the adapter instance (Channel) went through while sending the file. This may give you important insights regrading the error.

Hi-

If you can see message in communication channel monitor and not in sxmb_moni then the problem will be that your cache is not updated.

For this you can do the following

Tcode sxi_cache and try to do delta caching rather then complete one as it may take a lot of time.

Hi,

In general , we will follow the below steps

--First we we check for the file is picked or no, if not see the Sender side CC parameters like mode and path details

--If file was picked then we need to check whether we are using the File content conversion parameters or not if yes we need to check the FCC parameters ,

-- Goto RWB-Channelmonitoring by the following link

http://host:port/mdt/channelmonitorservlet

select the sender side CC name and check for errors

-- If no errors in above, goto SXMB_MONI for Integration Engine xml processing , check for successful or error occured black or red color

--if success in SXMB_MONI then we need to check in RWB as above channel monitor now select the receiver side CC

-- If no errors then check for output file is placed intarget or not

Hi Chilla,

I checked in http://host:port/mdt/channelmonitorservlet and checked for registered CC. No CC is shown. When I check for unregistered CC, I see them all, but cannot check the details.

Do you know why? What is the difference between registered and unregistered?

Hi Alexander,

Please check the following things...

1) Check the file is processed or not by communication channel or not

2) Check the messages same in the SXMB_MONI.
