ESS W4 Read Only Error

Experts,

One of my colleagues is having an issue when doing some work in ESS with the W4 functionality. It is giving the error message "Declaration Required". Why is it giving this error message when the screen is read only? The user cannot select the declaration. He tried customizing to hide the declaration and checkbox but the error still there. Any thoughts?

Hi,

I actually had this exact same issue previously and answered this question in another SCN post. You have to change standard code via an enhancement spot to make the system think the check-box is entered by the user.
