Theme is not getting changed in NWBC 5.0

Hi Experts,

I have a problem in THEME and BRANDING_IMAGE in NWBC 5.0.

I am using NWBC 5.0 PL2

Problem is the theme is not getting changed /reflecting after updating in the Config parameters table.

  I have added the following Config Parameters in the '/UI2/NWBC_CFG_CUST' table.

BRANDING_IMAGE

BRANDING_URL

WELCOME_MESSAGE

THEME

USE_BROWSER_CACHE

I have appended the '/sap/bc/ui2/nwbc' path in the server URL.

Unfortunately,  the BRANDING_IMAGE and THEME are not reflecting in the NWBC, and other parameters are reflecting in NWBC and they are working.

Could some one help me any other configuration is missing or some thing wrong.

The CFG table remain emtpy even if the setings are changed.

Hi Denis,

How do you perform the change of the settings that leads to the empty CFG table? Do you refer to the NWBC_CFG here?

Hello NWBC Experts!,

Please someone help me to resolve this issue in NWBC Desktop 5.0 PL2.

I have tried creating a custom theme also in ui2/theme_designer transaction, that is also not reflecting in the NWBC. 

Is there any service related to the theme & branding  to be active in SICF.

I hope i am updating in a correct table and with right parameter name.  is anything wrong. 

I have a very urgent demo so please help me to resolve.

Hi Naveen,

do you hit the buton "save & create " in the /ui5/theme_designer?

is the theme showing in the /ui5/theme_tool transaction ?

To assign the theme go to:  /ui2/cust and select this entry:

Ad a new entry :

save.

Re open a new NWBC session.. theme should be now visible.

Hello Patrick,

Thanks for the response.

I am able to use custom theme which we designed through the theme designer.

However the sap standard themes are not getting reflected if we change the theme name in the 'CFG' table.

and also one more observation

branding image is not reflecting if we give value in this parameter table, however if we use along with the theme designer then it is reflecting in NWBC.

Hello Naveen,

if you use the /ui2/nwbc service, then the changes in te NWBC_CFG table won't be reflected. In this case transaction /UI2/NWBC_CFG_CUST has to be used.

For standard themes do you use e.g. sap_corbu?
