Automatic Activity Price Calculation based on HR Payroll

Hi.

I have below querry in SAP CO for Activity Price Calculation.

My Client need to calculate Activity Prices to be calculated based on Employees Payroll cost i.e. (Basic+HRA+Travel).

Let me know if its possible in SAP.

Hi Atul,

Can you elaborate the query in detail...

Are you maintaining Labour as an activity type...?

If yes......It is possible in the following way:

If you have 3 separate GL's available for Basic, HRA, Travel...it will be easy.

Maintain....those 3 cost elements as Activity dependent and do the planning accordingly.

You need to plan the quantity/hours also for that activity for getting planned activity price.

System will calculate Planned Activity Price using..KSPI

Same way System will calculate Actual Activity Price --..KSII

My requirement is as below.

We are into manpower supply company. We recruit people based on client requirement and provide them client. Employee Salary (Basic+HR+TRA) is decided by client. We provide all logistic support (like visa, accommodation etc) to supply manpower. In month end we submit time sheet to client. Based on No. of hrs we will bill to client. e.g. if Employee present all 30 days then we will bill full (Basic+HRA+TRA). if he present for 20 days then accordingly we will bill them ((Basic+HRA+TRA).

My solution for this requirement is - Create service order employee wise. Book time sheet against this employee. While booking time sheet, we need to have an activity price for this employee (determine based on his total monthly package). This Activity price will give me Actual cost for employee. Also, any additional expenses like travel, training cost, will be booked against this service order. In month generate billing via SD using DIP profile to generate invoice.

In manpower, we will be having 5000+ employee.

Now, in this case, Can we calculate activity type price automatically for all these employees? so in case of any revision of salary this price can be change automatically?

I am considering one service order and one activity type for each employee.

Hi Atul,

I assume Basic+HR+TRA are all mostly different cost elements only and Your sender cost center will send it to the receiver service order.

What you need to do:

  • First: Create Master Data - Cost Center, Cost Element & Activity Type, Service Order etc. In your cost element group the above 3 cost element need to be available & also activity type group need to be created with all 5000 activity types.

  • Second: Configure Splitting Strucure through the Transaction Code - OKES. The Rule should be for Version 0.

  • Third: Assign the Splitting structure to the cost center - Transaction Code -OKEW

  • Fourth: Perform Cost Planning for respective Cost Element, Cost Center & Activity Type - Transaction Code - KP06

  • Fifth: Maintain Price Planning for Cost Center & Activity Type through Transaction Code - KP26

  • Sixth: Now Execute the Actual Price Calculation through Transaction Code - KSII

  • Seventh: Run the Price Report through Transaction Code - KSBT

To answer your question about revision of salary this price can be change automatically- Yes assuming you have revised the plan price which will calcuate different rate per hour for the employees.
