  Hi

When i execute the currency translation in the IC matching model i am getting the error.

RUN_LOGIC:Ownership application is needed when currency translation runs for GROUP.

I am currently checking the scenarios with SAP BPC 440 book and following the steps maintained in this.

Hi,

you can run the currency conversion in two ways:

*RUN_PROGRAM CURR_CONVERSION

CATEGORY=%CATEGORY_SET%

CURRENCY=%CURRENCY_SET% OR GROUP=%SCOPE_SET%

TID_RA=%TIME_SET%

RATEENTITY=GLOBAL

*ENDRUN_PROGRAM

The highlighted row defines whether the conversion happens for the currency or the group type dimension. Please check your script and if it says GROUP change it to CURRENCY.

Hi Arnold

Actually the problem was the IC matching model was created as "Financial" type, once changed to "Consolidation" model it is working fine.
