Solman system preparation error - 'ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL is not installed

Hi Experts,

We have installed Solution Manager 7.1 system in our landscape. current BASIS support pack level is 9.

We have installed ST-A/PI add-on ST-A/PI 01R_700, which is newer version than ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL.

While configuring system preparation at check installation phase we are getting error as 'ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL is not installed' and suggested NOTE

: 1483508 - Solution Manager 7.1: Root Cause Analysis pre-requisites

How can I upgrade the support packs without basic configuration and MOPZ.

I found one SNOTE related to add-on issue : 2046683 - Required BPMon correction for SolMan 7.1 SP <= 11 with ST-A/PI 01R

Current ST release is 700

But not able to understand which note I have to apply to avoid this error.

I tried to ignore the error and proceeded for further, but getting error at phase configure ABAP as initial solution manager setup error.

Kindly guide me to resolve the issue

Hello Vamshi,

uncar the ST-A/PI file and copy directly in trans/EPS/IN directory and proceed.

Hi Manoj,

Before doing System Preparation step, have you upgraded to latest SolmanSPS ?

If not please please download latest Solman SPS and upgrade through SUM then start post activities.
