Service Desk - Request for change make status open to change for admin

Hello,

Is there a way to configurate the system to have the "status field" under processing data not gray out and it can be modify in the Request for change for Admin only? Or how I can add a reject status to all the worklow status for Request for change?

I have tried to add the E0003 (Rejected) to a number of Actions in SPRO, but its does not show up in the actions in the web portal.

In our Incident management, the "status field" under processing data are modifiable by admin.

Thank you in advance,

Phillip

Hello Phillip,

you should not make the status field editable, this can lead to several problems in the status workflow.

There is already an action to set the status 'rejected'. If you delete the sceduling condition for this action, it will be visible in every status of your change request.

Here is the action in the standard SMCR:

Take care to make this change for the action profile of your transaction type, probably ZMCR.

You can restrict the execution of this action by assigning appropriate authorizations to the status 'rejected'.
