SBOP analysis for excel installation can't locate MS Office

Hello experts,

I'm facing a strange issue: whenever I try to install SBOP analysis for MS Office 1.4 setup program says that it can't locate MS Office even though the appropriate version of office is installed on my laptop.

There's no such topic on SCN so I hope that this discussion won't be closed.

Hi - did you install 1.4 SP11, the latest patch?

That's strange, actually. I installed a version from A- Z Index | SAP Support Portal .

Then I found out that there were newer versions on  https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/

SP11 that you suggested worked perfectly. Thank you.

It looks like the" Installations and Upgrades" Version does not detect newer MS Office Versions  - so the logic of installing base Software and patching is broken here: Only directly installing a newer Patch from "Support Packages and Patches" helps to solve this issue!
