How to pick up a specific PPM for a particular planned order ?

I have created a specific PPM --now How to make a planned order in rrp3 pick up this  specific PPM and cancel the original one ?

i don't find a  solution for this in SCC03 in which t code ....can we assign a PPM with a planned order ?

Hi Rahul,

You can change the PPM for an order.

Follow the below given steps.

1. Go to transaction /sapapo/rrp2

2.Enter the logical system, APO order no. and planning version.

3.Click on change button

4.In the following screen, click again on change button which is provided to change source of supply.

5. In the pop up choose the newly created PPM and click on adopt.

This order would now be assigned to the newly created PPM.

Hi Rahul,

In RRP3, press Change mode button, then double click on the pl.order.

In the new window on the bottom you will see the source of supply assigned to the pl.order. To change it just press Change button and then from the list choose the preferred source of supply, Save and click Back.

Is it possible to share business requirement more in detail

Generally there are many ways by which you can inactive the original PPM or put the resource constraints so planned orders will not pick the original PPM but go for specific PPM which has been created.

It´s also depend upon the solution which you are using. You can use READ BADI to select the specific PPM while reading the PPM master data for planning run.
