Reporting via InfoSet

Hi all,

i am facing an issue when reporting o an InfoSet which is built from one InfoCube and 1 DSO.

I get the following error messages in Bex:

1 - POS(1355) Missing delimiter:

2 - Error while creating SQL-code

3 - Error while reading the InfoProvider data

When i go to RSA1 and then to my InfoSet i can see the correct values.

Do somebody know how to solve this issue?

Thanks.

Dear all,

I found a note which describes my issue.

1722051 - Infoset auf MaxDB: SQL POS(XX) Missing delimiter: )

So, I have to update my BW-system.

Hi Engin,

Seems like an issue in Infoset definition.

Can you try to create new Infoset in the same way and activate it?

if no issue then Go to tcode RSRT and perform 'Generate Report' on your Bex query. This will give you better error description.

If this doesn't work too then you can go to Tcode RSRV and perform analysis on your infoset.

Hope this helps.

I created a new infoset in the same way (infocube & DSO) and a new query.

In RSRT I get the same error message and a new message like this:

RAISE_READ_ERROR Prog: CL_RSDRV_VPROV_BASE

In RSRV I cannot find any tests for Infosets?

Hi Engin,

are you using standard infocube or any virtual infoprovider?

are you using and exclude value selections on query?

Please check if you providing correct selections for query.

Swati,

I have a standart Infocube, standart dso; no value excluding in Query.

My query is really very simple.

Hi Engin,

Do you have access in SAP marketplace?

Note can be found there..

U can run RSRV on your query. Also, it seems that this error occurs mainly due to incorrect definition of infoset or incorrect selection provided in query.

Please check. there are many threads available in SDN on error 'RAISE_READ_ERROR Prog: CL_RSDRV_VPROV_BASE'. you may want to have a look at them.
