Dear QM Gurus,

I created a characteristic class as C2_C20 and it should have been assigned a characteristic number in the 2000 sequence but the number was assigned as 5306.

I archived and tried again.

I had to create another characteristic class C2C20 and it also did the same thing, it was assigned 5307, then 5308. 

Please clarify more on this.

How to check/assign the number assignment range for MICs in QM.

Hi Mudassar, I couldn't get this question correctly! Sorry! Have you created class using CL01 transaction code? 5306, 5307 are class characteristics that we created using CT04 or these are MICs that are created with QS21? MIC number ranges can be checked with QS29.
