We have a red alert in the Configuration column in Technical monitoring for BI system
Expiring PSE certificates
We have checked all the certificates in the system using strustsso2 transaction and couldn't find any expired certificate but still the alert is there. Please suggest how I can get rid of this alert.
Is there any check that needs to be performed apart from strustsso2?
regards,
Jaideep Dhiman
Hi,
Check your ststrust as well, also you can active job ssf_alert_Certexpire on that system it should indicate exactly which cert if failing.

Hello Jaideep,
I assume you have tried closing the alert, it may have been an old one that is still around because the alert hasn't been closed.

Hello Jaideep,
Maybe its complaining about a root certificate expiring (although very unlikely), all root certificates are stored in table STRUSTCERT
Check this table in SE16, the initial screen will only show you fields -
NAME CAT DESCRIPT
you have to double click on each entry and check validity of each.
You can mark them inactive or remove them from STRUST->Certificates->Database

Siddhesh
Hi,
Please also refer to the below SAP Notes:
1843214 - Wrong rating for Expiring ABAP certificates
1757010 - CCDB: ConfigStore PSE_CERT - Ignore empty PSE

Hi Jaideep ,
Have you used the SMD to connect with the solution manager using certificates ?
Please send a screenshot
