Hide Customer Groups IN SAP 9.1

Dear Experts,

We would like to hide a specific Customer Group from some user in SAP Business One v.9.1.

Therefore, some users will not be able to see the data nor add transactions to the customers of this particular group.

We are also using the 'Branch' functionality in this database.

Any suggestion on this matter is welcomed.

Hi Vassilis Korolis,

First thing you can do is to go to Users and assign branch which user is allowed to work. So User can not post entry to another branch. So your one problem solved.

You can also assign branch on Business partner master data General tab. So User can only post entry of business partner relevant to his assigning branch.

To hide customer group on business partner only option to hide all. Hope in future SAP will enable to hide selected field in drop down.

But he can still view data of other branch.

you can not hide the some of the BP's or group , it will affect all the BP's .
