SLD Communication issues

Hi All,

We are setting up new PO 7.4 landscape and facing below issues.

1) Created custom SWCV in SLD and couldn't view the same in ESR but can view standard SWCV while importing

2) Created Business System in SLD and same couldn't view in ID while importing

Kindly let me know the solution if you have faced same issues.

Hi Manikandan,

Have you tried the following steps:

1. Click on create object
2. Expand Work Areas and select "Software Component Version"
3. Choose "Import from SLD" and click on Display
4. Choose the custom SWCV in the list and click on Import

If ESR has trouble connecting to SLD, check if the parameters in exchangeProfile are correct. The following are the important ones that  help ESR and IB help locate SLD:

com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name

com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name

com.sap.aii.connect.cr.port

If these are correct, and your SLD is on a remote server, please check if PO system can access SLD.

I assume you have executed the post installation steps successfully.

If so please clear SLD cache (environment -> clear SLD cache) and see if that helps...
