Incoming Quality certificate update in GR

Hi experts

We receive incoming quality certificate for PO in advance of GR and update the receipt of quality certificate for PO by using transaction QC53.

Upon GR for PO , can the information automatcally flow that the certificate is received?

Now we manually check using QC53 and update during GR that certificate is enclosed.

We use control key 0005

Hi Kiran,

Based on your issue statement I understand that you are already creating incoming QC using QC51/52 (and not QC53.. ) for your ASN. Then there should already a QCPR table entry for the purchase order/material/batch/certificate status (like 1, 2, ..5, etc). Please can you confirm if you are not doing it now? By default the status "2" will be picked - is that not happening now? How do you store the external QC now?

Based on control key (0005), I believe it is flagged as Cert required (TQ08-ZGERF = X). Along with this control key, material master also has the field for Certificate type which needs to be filled in. Please can you also let us know what is the 'Control without certif.' indicator picked and weather 'Enhanced cert processing' is active or not. With the above setup, after GR a new QC will be created with default status = 2. Is this not happening now?

Upon GR form PO please can you confirm which kind of information needs to be flown and to whom? Do you mean you wanted to put some remainder deadline /Escalation deadlines? or?

Hi

If you are receiving the Certificate then information is not flown automatically. and if you are receiving the Certificate against PO item then information is sent automatically.
