MDG Data Model IS

Hi

Can any one clarrify about data model IS (Internal service)

It seems SAP delivered Data Model IS becomes active in MDG7.0 FP02 if we activate all MDG specific business function.

What it it's funcationaliy any sap document for this will be more helpful?

Is SAP planning to include all other finanace master data's also in upcomeing release i.e Asset Mater,WBS element,Statical Key Structure and so on?

Hi Sanjay,

data model IS is a rather old one. It belongs to an EhP5 based scenario of integrating MDG with SSF. Documentation should be available in SAP Help / Application Documentation. Anyways, ss far as I know, this scenario is not really used by MDG customers.

I am interested about commitment item which is in Data Model IS but not in 0G for entity type ACCCCDET. If we want to refer ECC commitment item can we define as type 3 entity with Data Element UISS_FIPOS.But it seems that no check table is assigened to said data element. Then How referance data will be factched from ECC in this case?

Hi Sanjay,

you have the common options of creating:

- an OVS search help

- a DDIC search help

We'd go for an OVS most probably.
