Syntax error after Solution Manager 7.1 SPS12 Upgrade

Hello ,

I am facing one issue in Solution manager system,

Where i applied below notes 2 months before.

- 1946164  SYB: DDIC patch collection for release 7.02 (117 pre-requisites notes need to be applied)

- 1946165  SYB: Solution Manager Technical Monitoring Patch Collection(22 pre-requisites notes need to be applied)

- 1605169  SYB: SAP BW 7.02 Correction Collection

- 1558958  SYB: DBA Cockpit Correction Collection SAP Basis 7.02 / 7.30" (126 pre-requisites notes need to be applied)

After applying this note. we did not received any dumps or face any issues.

But recently we upgraded Solman from SPS08 to SPS12. Now we are getting Syntax error dumps for performance collector job and for transaction db02.

Please suggest.

Hello All,

We re-implemented the latest version of note:1558958 which the perquisite of 1946750.

and the issue was resolved.

Hi Tejas,

If you're still facing issue after following SAP Note   2048688 - SYB: ABAP short dump due to syntax error in program CL_SYB_RDI_META in phase MAIN_NEWBAS/...

& have already de-implemented the suggested note,then suggest you to raise SAP OSS for same.

Hi Tejas,

Now we are getting Syntax error dumps for performance collector job and for transaction db02.

No magic ball at our end,i think you forgot to attach the dumps or details with this discussion,Please attach the dump details for analysis to suggest further.

Reason and Prerequisites

Your SAP SCM system is running on SAP ASE and SAP Note 1946750 was implemented before starting the upgrade. Note 1946750 is typically implemented as prerequiste for Note
1882376 - SYB: DBA Cockpit Correction Collection SAP Basis 7.40.

During phase MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_AIMMRG XPRA /SAPAPO/TS_AFTER_IMPORT references class CL_SYB_RDI_META which is inconsistent at that point during the upgrade.

Solution

Currently there is no solution for the problem. To avoid the issue de-implement note 1946750 before you start the upgrade.

I have already followed this note and de-implemented the mentioned note -1946750 .

But the issue is not resolved.

Dear Tejas,

have you performed SOLMAN initial and basic configuration again  post upgrade.

Also Can you check if Updates for central correction notes are available for your system in SOLMAN_SETUP.
