Runtime Error - ASSIGN_LENGTH_0

Hello Friends,

  Some dumps were occurred on yesterday with the sort text,

Program error: ASSIGN with length 0 in program "/SDF/SAPLSMD_E2E". by the user SM_SLM.

SM_SLM user is used in RFC(SM_SIDCLNT000_READ) connection which is from Solman to Production.

Why it has occurred ? Do we we have to do any correction in production?

This is a known issue; note 1011229 should help solve this.

Hello Hemanth,

   This Dump has occurred in Production, Not in Solman.

The reason could be Production or Solman ?

Hope you are doing good. This is a BUG; so please apply it in the managed server (not the solman server).
