Abap proxy monitoring in message monitoring in PI

Hi All,

I understand that the PI and ECC integration engine and proxy can be monitored only using tcode SXMB_MONI.

Then why are those options available in message monitoring section which is used to monitor adapter engine only ?

Hi Hema,

You can monitor proxy messages in application systems as well as in message monitoring also, this will give us central point of monitor without logging into individual systems.

then what about the integration engine monitoring in message monitoring....is it same as sxmb_moni

Hi Hema,

Yes you are right, it is to monitor PI integration engine (same you can monitor in SXI_MONITOR in PI ABAP stack).

as the name says its for monitoring adapter runs on adapter engine(eg, file, soap, jdbc).

you can monitor integration engine messages in both sxmb_moni and rwb.
