Hi,
My client's requirement is to pick Freight Cost via Quantity Basis. All Deliveries attached in Shipment Document have units as CAR (Master Carton).
So if my truck hold three Deliveries with 1000 CAR
Rate for Destinations are defined as for e.g. 10 Rs/MC
Freight to be picked = 10 * 1000 = 10000 Value
Weight is a standard factor along with volume but can any one help me in determining it based on Quantity (CARTONS). Thanks..
Jingesh,
Can you help me in another issue:
I have a requirement for creating stages in my Shipment from Two Deliveries.
Delivery 1: From Shipping Point Z --> Town A
Delivery 2: From Shipping Point Z --> Town B
I need those Stages to be determined automatically on Shipment document. How is it possible in system? Eventually my Route is Z --> A --> B. How can I properly determine legs for this scenario?
What leg indicator shall I use? Direct or Preliminary? Please help.

My requirement is not Shipping Unit. I am not packing anything in Delivery or Shipment. My requirement is Delivery Units or Qty in Delivery Document that is CAR (Sales Unit). Is it possible?

Thanks Jingesh.. WIll this pick the total number of CARTONS in my deliveries? I would also like to calculate KMs for my total shipment. Which condition shall I use in that regards. I will get back once I configure it in system.

Hello,
Go to IMG - Logistics Execution - Transportation - Shipment Costs - Pricing - Pricing Control - Define Condition Types.
Select your Shipment Cost document Freight Condition Type and go into details.
Here select the Calculation Type as S - Number of shipping units and Calc. base (under Freight Costing) as B - Delivery item.
You may also try with Calculation Type as C - Quantity and Calc. base (under Freight Costing) as B - Delivery item.
Thanks,
Jignesh Mehta
