SMLG configuration issues

Hi All

I am having some suspicion on SMLG configuration .

What are the best suitable way to trace about the same.

I see in SMLG only some group assigned to users.Rest assigned to default_logon and parallel generator .

Hi Abhi ,

SMLG is used for load balancing . Here groups are assigned to Servers and not to Users .

Also what is that you want to trace ?

I want to see in details load on all servers at same time .

I know we can see from st03n any smart way to do so that i can check statistics on all server load .

how can i know SMLG is the culprit for configurations issues .

Or better i want to put how can i see that SMLG configuration is resulting in bad response time on system .

Hi Abhishek,

In SMLG transaction you have a load distribution button which you can check to see how is response time and user distribution in system.

Also You can refer to the ST03N for the further expert analysis for transactions and time profiles.

Hello Abhishek,

SMLG gets its response times from this monitor in RZ20:

RZ20 --> SAP CCMS Monitor Templates
               --> Dialog per Application Server

The user distribution is calculated based on these times. You may check this old note:

51789 - Poor user distribution in logon distribution

In case the users are not evenly distributed across the servers, this note often helps.
